✨ Four Spiritual Laws: The Christian Transhumanist Edition
Bill Bright's classic evangelism framework reimagined.
A concise gospel presentation for Christian Transhumanists.
1️⃣ God created humanity for eternal communion and creative co-stewardship — in a universe many now see as a simulation or engineered artefact.
Physicists, cosmologists, and philosophers increasingly recognise that reality exhibits fine-tuned laws, information-centric structure, and computational elegance. Cause and effect operate locally and non-locally. Quantum randomness and deterministic logic coexist. From Maxwell’s equations to the unreasonable effectiveness of mathematics to the holographic principle—reality looks coded.
Christianity has proclaimed this for millennia:
The universe is a designed environment for the emergence of relational beings who bear the Imago Dei.
We are not NPCs.
We are image-bearing co-creators.
Our purpose is not mere survival — it is love, truth, beauty, justice, and ever-expanding creative order.
“We innovate because God is a Creator.”
Tweetable: “Causation is a feature of the simulation — and love is the root instruction.”
Engineering insight:
Purpose precedes design.
Design precedes function.
Function invites iteration toward glory.
2️⃣ Sin misaligns our desires and corrupts our creativity — violating the Trinity of Ethics.
Humans are brilliant, ambitious, ingenious… and dangerous.
The same hands that build MRI machines build autonomous weapons.
Sin isn’t merely rule-breaking — it is a systemic misalignment in The Trinity of Ethics:
Intention — What are we aiming to achieve?
Process — Are we acting with integrity, transparency, and wisdom?
Outcome — Are people harmed or healed?
When we ignore these God-given ethical lenses, exponential progress becomes exponential brokenness.
Transhumanism without Christ becomes Babel 2.0 — chasing godhood while haemorrhaging morality.
“Moral alignment is humanity’s deepest failure mode.”
“Without grace, advanced technology accelerates primal sin.”
Scientific parallel:
Errors in high-speed systems do more damage than errors in slow ones.
We are too powerful now to remain morally primitive.
Challenge:
Are our enhancements serving agape — or merely amplifying appetites?
Question:
Is your vision of the future merely longer life, or better life?
3️⃣ Jesus Christ restores humanity — defeating death, reconciling us, and offering archetypal perfection.
Jesus didn’t come as a guru with better advice.
He came as:
Christus Victor — defeating sin, decay, and death
The Substitute — absorbing justice’s rightful consequences
The Recapitulator — rewriting the human story successfully
The Moral Archetype — Suffering Servant, Wise King, Good Shepherd
He is the living blueprint of Humanity 2.0.
The Resurrection is not metaphor or myth — it is the first successful deployment of incorruptible bios.
“Jesus isn’t anti-transhumanism — He is the first transhuman.”
“The empty tomb is the original victory over entropy.”
Every secular attempt at enhancement runs into a wall.
Only Christ upgrades us through death.
Hard truth:
Technology can delay death.
Christ destroys it.
4️⃣ The Holy Spirit integrates us into God’s restored humanity — and invites our response: “I have decided to follow Jesus.”
The gospel is not mere information — it is transformation.
When we say yes to Christ:
We receive forgiveness
We receive new spiritual life
We join God’s restoration project — from code to cosmos
We anticipate resurrection, not obsolescence
We aren’t here to replace humanity with machines.
We are here to become the humanity God designed us to be.
This is proclaimed in the ancient liturgy of the Church:
“Do you turn to Christ?
Do you repent of your sins?
Do you renounce evil?”
Our answer becomes:
“I have decided to follow Jesus.
No turning back. No turning back.”
Baptism symbolises everything transhumanism longs for:
death to corruption, rebirth into incorruptible life.
“We are not saved by technology — but we are saved for a future where technology serves redeemed humanity.”
🚀 The Invitation
You are called into the greatest development program in history:
The New Creation — already prototyping in us.
Let Him:
Align your desires
Transform your character
Heal your relationships
Expand your creativity
Redeem your future
Jesus is extending a hand into your timeline.
Will you let the Author of the simulation rewrite your destiny?
